Updated: Armed Man Barricaded in Boyds Home
Man has been taken into custody, according to Montgomery County Police
(Updated 3:50 p.m) A man who reportedly barricaded himself inside Boyds residence with a gun was taken into police custody, Montgomery County Police said.
"He walked out of the residence peacefully," said Montgomery County Police Officer Rebecca Innocenti.
Innocenti was unable to provide further details.

(Updated 2:50 p.m.) Montgomery County Police Emergency Response Team was dispatched to a Boyds home after a man reportedly armed with a gun refused to leave the residence after a domestic dispute.
Montgomery County Police responded to reports of a domestic between a man and a woman at around 12:46 p.m., said Montgomery County Police Officer Rebecca Innocenti.

The woman left the home, but the man refused, Innocenti said.
Clarksburg Road, from Interstate 270 to Old Baltimore Road, remains closed.
(Original) Montgomery County Police said a man with a gun has barricaded himself inside a residence at 28100 on Clarksburg Road in Boyds.
The incident was dispatched at around 12:45 p.m., said Montgomery County Police Officer Howard Hersh.
Hersh was unable to confirm whether there were others in the home. A portion of Clarksburg Road near the incident remained closed Thursday afternoon.
