Police Seek Masked Sandwich Shop Robber
Investigators: Same man suspected of robbing Wisteria Drive Subway on Tuesday Jan. 31, and Wednesday, Jan. 11.

Montgomery County Police are investigating a series of robberies at a Germantown Subway, the most recent incident reported Tuesday night.
Detectives have obtained surveillance video from the Tuesday’s robbery and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
At around 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, officers from Montgomery County’s 5th District station responded to reports of a robbery at the Subway, at 12601 Wisteria Drive. The suspect reportedly displayed a handgun, demanded money from the register and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Investigators believe the same suspect committed a robbery at the same Subway on Wednesday, Jan. 11, based on similarities between the incident and a description of the robber.
The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s, 5’9” to 6’1” tall, and weighing 150-170 pounds. Police said that in both incidents, the suspect wore a black ski mask, black gloves, a black jacket, and black pants.
