LAYTONSVILLE, MD — Montgomery County police are looking for the man they say robbed and assaulted a woman on the evening of Monday, Sept. 17, in Laytonsville.
Police released a computer-generated composite sketch of the suspect Thursday in hopes of identifying the unknown man, described as a black male of unknown age, standing 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing around 175 pounds.
The suspect has brown eyes, very short black hair and a gold upper tooth, detectives said. He was wearing black jeans and a long-sleeved black tee shirt at the time of the assault.

The victim, an adult woman, was driving her black 2017 Toyota Rav4 SUV around 8:35 p.m. Monday when she pulled over in the 23600 block of Laytonsville Road to use her phone. While she was stopped, the suspect stopped behind her in a small, black, four-door car, possibly a Mazda.
While the victim was on the phone, her robber approached her car. When she rolled down her window, the woman was told to hand over cash. She complied, and the suspect reached in through the open window and assaulted her, police said.
