Teaching People Today About Tomorrow's Economy

AT&T is making a major contribution to help Washington County residents prepare for this increasingly tech dominated world.

The world seems to grow smaller every day. Thanks to technology it takes literally seconds to connect with anyone or anything across the globe. It has sparked a whole new economy and with it a new set of rules and educational requirements. It’s tech someone had to create, spread and teach and it’s that kind of world where highly-skilled workers are needed in increasingly greater numbers.

One organization in Washington County dedicated to the goal of improving educational attainment levels is getting a boost from AT&T.

Today at a ribbon cutting ceremony for OnTrack’s new office in Hagerstown AT&T announced a 25,000 dollar contribution.

Also today, OnTrack issued its first-year report which includes key educational benchmarks and sets goals for the community to achieve. You can download the ‘Cradle to Career Readiness Report’ HERE.
