$10K Reward Offered for Tips on Fatal Shooting in Parking Lot
A 22-year-old man died of his wounds after the July 31 incident, say Anne Arundel police.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — The Anne Arundel County Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of a 22-year-old Glen Burnie man.
The department's homicide detectives are investigating the July 31 shooting of Donta Duane Collins. Responding to the report of a shooting, Anne Arundel police officers found him at about 10:24 p.m. that night, lying in a parking lot and suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body, according to a police statement.
Collins was taken to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries, the police said.

The parking lot is in the 400 block of Hideaway Loop. The homicide detectives collected evidence from the scene and have interviewed witnesses, and "preliminary information suggests this was not a random act of violence," the police said.
