- After almost 3 years, a settlement has been reached for the family of Bowen Levy. Anne Arundel County School Board has awarded the family $2.5 million for the wrongful death of their child who choked on a rubber glove while at school. (Newsbreak)
- A fire in an Annapolis park bathroom is being investigated. On May 2, a fire broke out at Jonas and Catherine Green State Park in Annapolis. If anyone has any information, please contact police. (Newsbreak)
- The fireboat affectionately named "Tommy" has found a new home. A lot of planning went into making this move come to fruition. "Tommy" moved to the Fire Museum in Timonium. "The boat is named after former Baltimore Mayor Thomas D'Alesandro Jr., who served the city for 59 years." (WBAL 11)
- New changes are being made to Maryland's "Move Over" law starting in October. The law currently states you must "move over" for emergency vehicles. In October, the updated law will require drivers to change lanes or slow down when approaching any stopped vehicle that's displaying any type of caution signals or warning lights. (WMAR 2)
