$48K Worth Of Cocaine Seized In Glen Burnie Drug Raid: Police

Anne Arundel County Police seized about $48,000 worth of drugs when they raided a Glen Burnie house.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County Police seized about $48,000 worth of drugs when they raided a Glen Burnie house on Monday. Edwin Soto, 38, of the 900 block of Genine Drive in Glen Burnie, was charged with drug-trafficking as a result of the raid.

Detectives from the Narcotics and Special Investigations Section executed a search and seizure warrant in the 5300 block of Patrick Henry Drive in Brooklyn Park and at Soto's house in Glen Burnie. The warrants were obtained through an investigation into Soto reportedly using both residences to sell illegal drugs in Anne Arundel County.

  • 479.8 grams of cocaine (estimated street value $47,900)
  • 11 Xanax pills (estimated street value $110)
  • Smith and Wesson .38 special revolver
  • Ammunition
  • $856 in cash
  • Illicit drug packaging material – scale, vacuum sealer with bags, and kilo press
  • 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee
