Glory Days partners to help military kids

Throughout the month of April, the Month of the Military Child, the Glory Days restaurant located at 7939 Ritchie Hwy. is partnering with Our Military Kids. Diners who mail their receipts to Our Military Kids will have 10 percent of their total receipt donated to the charity.

Our Military Kids (www.ourmilitarykids.org) provides activity grants to children of deployed Reserve and Guard members or Wounded or Fallen Warriors. The activity grants go toward six months of an extracurricular activity like sports, fine arts lessons, tutoring or camp. Studies have shown that extracurricular activities help children keep their minds off deployment, injury or death and provides them with a chance to just be kids.

Receipts should be mailed to Our Military Kids, 6861 Elm Street, Suite 2A, McLean, VA 22101.
