Sunset Elementary is once again involved in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life Event. The Relay for Life event gives everyone the opportunity to celebrate, remember, and fight back as we make a difference in the battle against cancer. At the relay event, Team Sunset will camp out at Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds on Friday May 17th. Our team will have a representative on the track throughout the night. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events. Our team has pledged to raise $5,000 this year with your support. Sunset Elementary will be holding its second annual spaghetti dinner on Friday April 12th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm to support the Relay for Life team. Tickets are on sale now! Advance tickets are $7.00 for Adults and $5.00 for students. Advance tickets can be purchased by calling 410-222-6478. Tickets can also be purchased at the door (Adults- $8.00 Students- $6.00). Children under 3 are free. Price includes dinner, dessert and beverage. All funds raised benefit the American Cancer Society.
