Attempted Robbery on Cleveland Road in Linthicum Heights (Ferndale Residents in vicinity of Light Rail should be wary, too)

Increase your vigilance!  Incident happened 08:50 am on 9/11/2013

[A Young Mother] posted the following on FaceBook this morning and wanted you to be aware.


 At 8:50am this morning, we were robbed at our home. I was preparing to load the kids up to go to school, but instead, went to my van alone to get something first.  As I approached my van, I looked up and saw a man in my van holding my belongings!  There I stood, face-to-face with a robber, in my driveway.  My brave husband was able to tackle the criminal and recover our belongings. The police arrived immediately because a neighbor called the police minutes earlier and reported a suspicious man in our neighborhood. I am SO thankful to that wonderful Linthicum neighbor! The officers said to ALWAYS report suspicious people in your neighborhood.  We are SO grateful to the neighbor on Cleveland who called the police to report the suspicious person, then followed him in her truck, and then called the police again! 

God help the next person that attempts to jack with our community! This has got to stop! Please pass along to others.

The bonus, he was stopped yesterday as well but they were not able to arrest him at that time. He came back. LINTHICUM, let’s STOP THIS MADNESS!
