Baltimore Police Cadet Charged in Domestic Assault
Police in Anne Arundel County say Zachary Michael Mitchell struck a female acquaintance with his vehicle.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a local man after a domestic incident Thursday that resulted in a woman being struck by a vehicle.
Shortly after 4:30 p.m., officers responded to an apartment complex on the 100 block of Plymouth Lane for a reported domestic incident.
Police could not initially locate the individuals, but learned that a man and woman had been arguing next to a vehicle. The man, sitting inside the vehicle, pulled away, striking the woman standing outside of the vehicle, according to police.
Officers eventually located the man and woman inside of the apartment, and arrested the man, Zachary Michael Mitchell, 24, of Glen Burnie.
Police identified Mitchell as an off-duty cadet for the Baltimore City police, and charged him with second-degree domestic assault.
The woman suffered minor injuries, resulting in scratches and redness on her legs. She refused medical treatment, according to police.
