Glen Burnie Area Businesses Welcome Spring with Freebies

Although it has felt like spring for a while, Tuesday marks the official start of the season. It's also the day that some local businesses offer freebies to customers.

These offers are only available on Tuesday at participating locations.

locations will give out free regular-size Italian ice (one per customer). Stop by one of the area Rita's locations: 7900 Ritchie Highway (), 7381 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. and 810 Nursery Rd. in Linthicum.

is offering a free Bloomin' Onion appetizer if you stop in and tell your server that you're there to "bloom into spring."

Note that the offer is for dine-in or carry-out orders with any other purchase, and is limited to one per table or order. The Glen Burnie Outback is located at 7744 Ritchie Highway.

Or wait a few days until Thursday when will serve free food samples from 4-6:30 p.m. in an effort to promote the restaurant's new "happier hours."

The restaurant recently launched happy hour appetizer specials, also available from 4-:6:30 p.m., that will run from Wednesday through April 16. Bonefish is located at 6711 Ritchie Highway.
