Brooklyn Park Elementary Electricity Restored
A power outage ended classes early, but the issue has been resolved.
Classes at Brooklyn Park Elementary School will resume on schedule Tuesday morning after some students were dismissed early on Monday due to a power malfunction.
Power was restored to the school at 7 p.m. Monday after a BGE repair crew completed work underground, said Anne Arundel County Public Schools spokesman Bob Mosier. Parents and staff were notified Monday evening that school will begin on schedule Tuesday morning.
Classes were dismissed at 10:30 a.m. Monday after a partial power outage occurred.
