Nonprofit Sells Glen Burnie Site For Nearly $1M
The nonprofit Providence of Maryland, Inc., has sold its Glen Burnie building for $910,000.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — A nonprofit organization closed on the sale of its administrative office in Glen Burnie, selling the site for nearly $1 million.
The Hyatt Commercial real estate firm announced Thursday that the Providence Center of Maryland, Inc., had officially sold its location at 930 Point Pleasant Road.
The final bill for the 9,408-square-foot property came in at $910,000.

Officials said that the new owner, who was not named, intends to redevelop the site into a group home.
“We were pleased to assist Providence Center of Maryland, Inc. with the successful sale of this property,” said Dennis Murphy, of Hyatt Commercial, in a release.

“The property offers a strong redevelopment opportunity in a well-established Glen Burnie location.”
Zoned as an R-5 property, the grounds make up about .63 acres, according to the real estate firm.
