Ladies and gentlemen, start your propellers! Baltimore’s largest celebration of remote control airplanes swoops in for another year of high-flying R/C fun. The free event hosts local hobbyists as they zip their R/C planes, jets and helicopters hundreds of feet in the air. In addition
to the stunning air displays over the course of the three-day event, families and flyers will also enjoy:
Flights and Demonstrations: Visitors will be dazzled by more than 25 pilots performing high-soaring stunts in over 100 freestyle flights. Flights are continuous with take-offs from both the 600 ft. grass runway and the 275 ft. paved runway.
Novice Training Sessions: First-time flyers can experience the thrill of piloting an R/C aircraft under the guidance of Southwest Area Modelers club members. Training sessions are completely free of charge.
