Community Big Band Needs Trombones

The Big Band Theory of Baltimore is a non-profit, all volunteer jazz ensemble that performs for local events and fundraisers. We are a community based band that plays in the Anne Arundel / Baltimore County and surrounding areas. The band is currently on winter break and will be starting rehearsals again in Linthicum, on Thursday January 7th. We have two trombone positions open in the band and will be holding auditions for a lead male vocalist on January 14th. We tend to perform an average on 1-2 gigs a month and hold rehearsals every week. Bookings take us up into November of 2016. This includes Allen Pond Park in Bowie, OakCrest Village in Baltimore, Downs Park Concert Series in Pasadena, The American Legion in Brooklyn and St. John Lutheran Church in Linthicum. Plus more events are in the works for the coming year.
