Baltimore Washington Medical Center radiation oncologists Wendla Citron, M.D. and Mitch Oh, M.D. will be providing a free lecture titled “Oral Cancer: The Importance of Prevention and Early Detection” on Wednesday, April 10 at 6:30 p.m. at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, located at 301 Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie, and Tuesday, April 16 at 6:30 p.m. at BW Health Services (7556 Teague Road, Suite 440 in Hanover). Dr. Wendla Citron and Dr. Mitch Oh will present the latest information about cancers of the mouth, including the lips, tongue, cheeks, sinuses and throat. Risk factors, including being an adult over the age of 40 who smokes, uses smokeless tobacco and/or consumes alcohol, and prevention methods will be included. An oral cancer screening will be offered immediately following the lecture.
