Baltimore Washington Medical Center Physician, Devi Chakravorty, M.D., will be providing a free lecture titled “It’s Hot in Here: Turning Down the Heat on Perimenopause” on Thursday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m. at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, located at 301 Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie. This informative discussion will include information about the signs and symptoms that occur as women progress toward menopause including abnormal uterine bleeding, hot flashes, sleep problems and changes in hormone levels. Causes, prevention and treatment options will be included.
