Orthopedic specialists from The Joint Replacement Center at Baltimore Washington Medical Center offer “Joint School” to provide a free educational opportunity for patients who are considering having total joint replacement surgery or interested in learning more about joint replacements. The program is offered every month on the third Wednesday at 4 p.m.
Presented by Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses, the program explains the details of total joint replacement surgery and gives those who are contemplating whether or not to have surgery an opportunity to ask questions and receive information on what to expect during the preparation and recovery stages of the procedure.
