Lunch is Served

In recognition of National Diabetes Month in November, The Diabetes and Endocrinology Center at Baltimore Washington Medical Center is offering a program to teach nutritious and affordable food shopping and preparation. Join a certified diabetes educator and Melissa Sherwood, Executive Director of Deliciously Nutritious, for Lunch is Served, an informative discussion, food preparation and cooking demonstration followed by lunch. Participants will learn how to navigate the aisles of the grocery store to make smart and affordable food choices. Flavorful foods will be prepared and lunch will be enjoyed during this program.

Lunch is Served will be offered on November 1, November 8, November 15 and November 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Diabetes and Endocrinology Center located at 300 Hospital Drive, Suite 119. This program is free but space is limited. Reservations are requested (select one date only). To register or for more information, call the Diabetes and Endocrinology Center at 410-787-4940.
