The Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) Baltimore-Annapolis chapter holds its May meeting. The topic will be assessing and treating deficits in cognitive skills.
According to the group, children diagnosed with PDD, Autism or Aspergerʼs syndrome often show weaknesses in short-term memory, processing speed and logic and reasoning skills. Dr. Lori Perez will offer information on cognitive skills assessments that identify these and other weaknesses and brain training interventions to help with learning differences.
Dr. Lori Perez is a certified school psychologist and Executive Director of the Educational Resource Group in Severna Park. She has experience with learning differences as a provider and as a parent.
