UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center and Healthy Markets, Benefit LLC are teaming up to offer a farmers’ market in Glen Burnie. The market will be held every Saturday, June through October 2013, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Executive Center, located at 300 Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie. Seasonal fruits, vegetables, baked goods and prepared foods will be available. EBT/SNAP benefits, WIC Fruit and Vegetable Checks (FVC) and Farmers’ Market Nutrition (FMNP) checks will be accepted. Free parking is available. The market will be held rain or shine.
