Girl Found Safe After Not Reporting To School: Anne Arundel PD
A 9-year-old girl reported missing in Glen Burnie has been located, police reported on Wednesday.

UPDATE — Skylar Marie Schultz, a 9-year-old girl reported missing Wednesday after not arriving at school, was found safe, according to the Anne Arundel Police Department.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 9-year-old girl has been reported missing in Glen Burnie and social media reports say she did not arrive at George T. Cromwell Elementary School Wednesday. Anne Arundel County Police are searching for 9-year-old Skylar Marie Schultz, who was last seen in the the area of Wellham Avenue in the Ferndale/Glen Burnie area.
Skylar was last seen wearing a blue dress with pink hearts and pink unicorn pants. She has blue streaks in her blond hair.

Commenters on the police department's Facebook page say the girl is a fourth-grader at the school. Her mother, Amanda Payne, said on Facebook that she last saw her daughter headed for the school bus about 8:15 a.m., but she did not arrive at school.
Skylar was seen on surveillance near the Glen Ridge apartments around 10:30 or 11 a.m. Wednesday, her mother posted.
