- Due to a shortage of operators and a decrease in ridership, the MTA is making changes to the weekday light rail schedule. Starting July 10, the weekday light rail schedule will be changed to a modified version of the weekend schedule. The weekend schedule will not change. Click to see how your ride will be affected. - It has been four years since the tragedy at the Capital Gazette. The Gazette is having a remembrance ceremony to honor Capital Gazette's fallen journalists. (Capital Gazette)
- Sunday, June 26 at around 2:30 a.m. police were called to Jefferson Place and Allen Road in Glen Burnie. It was reported that a man produced two handguns and threatened someone. The incident happened after the gunman and the victim had a verbal argument. The suspect fled the scene before the police arrived. (Shore News Network)
- William Reckline, 21, from Glen Burnie, has been charged with first degree murder and first-degree assault. On Saturday, June 25 at about 10:30 p.m. Reckline shot and killed 32-year-old Andrew Bowers. Bowers girlfriend was also shot but suffered non-life-threatening injuries. (News Break)

- The new moon started last night. Now it is in "Cancer" and will be here for the next few days. New moons tend to bring all of the traditional moon energies of sensitivity, emotion and deception. (Astrology)
- Today is "National Camera Day." Cameras have come a long way! From huge bulky cameras to the ones that comes standard on our cell phones and everything in between. Remember the "disk" cameras? Or the classic "Polaroid" cameras! (Holidays and Observations)
- Henry H. Cooke took the earliest known photos of Baltimore between 1845-1850. Another Henry, Henry Fitz, Jr. opened Maryland's first photography studio in Baltimore in 1840.
