North County Hosts Old Mill in Season Finale
In our Game of the Week, the Lady Knights take on the Lady Patriots before moving into the playoffs.
In our last regular-season Game of the Week, the girls' basketball squad faces off at home against on Feb. 18, hoping to avenge an early season loss to the Lady Patriots.
The Lady Knights (13-5, 9-5 league) are led by Denver Clyde, who is averaging 22 points and 12 rebounds per game in what has become a dominating season for the 6'2" senior forward. Another major contributor for North County is senior guard Ayonche' Clash, averaging 12 points, four assists and four rebounds per game.
Old Mill (9-11, 6-9 league) is coming off a big win against Chesapeake, and look to finish the league schedule on a high note.

Last month, the as Sophomore Natasha Riley scored 15 points while Imani Davidson contributed 11. A key to the Old Mill victory was shutting down Clyde in the second half.
“Being able to double-down and just do whatever we could to contain Denver was key to us slowing down their attack,” said Old Mill Coach Craig White.
