Murder Charges Pressed Against Nottingham Man In Anne Arundel Homicide: Police

A second man was charged with murder after a homicide in Anne Arundel County, police said. This suspect is from Nottingham.

BROOKLYN, MD — The Anne Arundel County Police Department announced Wednesday that it arrested a second suspect accused of a homicide in Brooklyn, Maryland.

Officers identified the latest arrestee as 18-year-old Devin Garrett Twigg of Nottingham. Authorities said they charged him with murder in the death of Devin Scott Freeman, a 19-year-old man.

On March 9, police said they charged the first suspect: 18-year-old Jaden Kemeatrius Crowner of Brooklyn.

Officers said they made the arrests after finding Freeman's body behind a Brooklyn business earlier this year.

Authorities said they spotted the body with apparent trauma in the 4000 block of Ritchie Highway on Feb. 27 around 10 a.m.

The Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled the case a homicide and said the cause of death was at least one gunshot wound, officials announced on March 1.

Authorities did not speculate when, where or by whom the shots were fired.
