It was great to see a slice of my former home and the Southwestern splendor I fell in love with in Texas right here in suburban Baltimore.
Bob Chance of Carol's Western Wear and other employees were friendly and helpful while allowing me and others to photograph and view these beauties.

The boots, valued at $50,000, are made from alligator and English calf. It's the hand tooling and hand antiqued overlay I love. Plus, the star-shaped, golden settings for many of the diamonds delighted the Texan in me.
There's a saying that Texas is a country unto itself, and folks can find a slice of the Southwest right in Glen Burnie at Carol's Western Wear.
Thanks for displaying these pieces of art in your store.
