Police Arrest Glen Burnie Man in Robbery, Assault
Police said the incident occurred on Sunday at 3 p.m.

A 26-year-old Glen Burnie man was charged with assault and robbery on Sunday afternoon, according to Anne Arundel County police.
According to online charging documents, William Reginald Epps Jr. of the 300 block of Cherry Lane was charged with second-degree assault, robbery and theft with a value less than $1,000.
Police responded to the report of a robbery in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway on Sunday at 3 p.m., according to a press release. Police spoke to a male victim who said he was approached by another man who demanded money.

According to police, the victim refused to hand over the money and walked away when he was grabbed and assaulted. The victim was able to get away and fled to a Shell gas station to call police.
Police searched in the area of Ritchie Highway and West Ordnance Road to locate Epps, who was positively identified by the victim.
