Police Identify Biker Hit By Vehicle at Trail Crossing
The elderly Glen Burnie man is in critical condition after the weekend accident at a trail crossing in Severna Park.

A Glen Burnie bicyclist was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle Saturday afternoon in Severna Park, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
The accident was reported about 2:40 p.m. at the B&A Trail crossing with Earleigh Heights Road West.
Firefighters found an adult male bicyclist who had been struck by a vehicle and thrown about 20 feet. Anne Arundel County Police say the cyclist failed to stop at the stop sign marking the intersection with Earleigh Heights Road.

The cyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken by paramedics to Shock Trauma with critical, life-threatening, head injuries.
Police have identifed the victim as Young Chung, 82, of Glen Burnie, and say his error appears to have caused the accident.
