Police: Officer Chases Down Would-Be Thief
Glen Burnie man allegedly broke into vehicle early Monday.

An Anne Arundel County police officer chased down and arrested a Glen Burnie man early Monday after he allegedly broke into a car, according to a police report.
James Michael Koltko, 29, of Wendover Road in Glen Burnie, was charged with theft, being a rogue and vagabond and resisting arrest.

At 1:11 a.m. Monday, an officer was on patrol in the area of Stevens Road and Beth Road when he noticed Koltko open the door to a vehicle, the police report stated. Koltko leaned inside the vehicle and then saw the officer approaching. At that time, Koltko began to ride off on his bike.
The officer followed him, and after a short foot pursuit, took Koltko into custody, the police report said.
