Police: Teen Steals Shoes at Gunpoint

A 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with robbery in the incident.

A 16-year-old Millersville teen was charged Friday with robbery after police said he stole a man's shoes at gunpoint outside Marley Station Mall.

According to a release, police responded to the parking lot at Marley Station Mall Friday at 9:58 p.m. for the report of a robbery. Officers spoke to a victim who said a suspect approached him, displayed a black handgun and demanded the victim's shoes. The victim gave the suspect his shoes and the suspect then fled the area on foot.

Police located a suspect matching the description the victim gave nearby. The victim positively identified the suspect, and the shoes were recovered nearby.
