Robbery, Shooting In Glen Burnie Prompt Police To Ask For Help

A food delivery driver was robbed and in a separate incident, a man involved in a car accident was shot in Glen Burnie Aug. 29.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County police officers are seeking the public's help in two separate incidents that occurred recently in Glen Burnie. On Aug. 29 at approximately 10:15 p.m., officers responded to a call about a food delivery driver who was robbed in the 7900 block of Nolpark Court.

The man was dropping off an order to a home when he was approached by a group of men who punched him and took the delivery bag. Eastern District detectives are investigating the incident and ask anyone with information to call 410-222-6145 or the TipLine 410-222-4700.

That same day at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers were called to the area of Shelly Road and Harris Heights for a shooting. They found a man who had been shot on his lower half. The man had attempted to stop a suspect from leaving the scene of an accident when the suspect shot him then took off in a light-colored sedan. The victim was treated at the hospital.
