SECU CREDIT CARD MARKETING CAMPAIGN HONORED
SECU – Maryland's largest credit union – has won the 2015 CAMEO Award for the most innovative and resourceful credit card marketing campaign
SECU – Maryland’s largest credit union – has won the 2015 CAMEO Award for the most innovative and resourceful credit card marketing campaign of the year.
SECU won the CAMEO for its overall credit card campaign in the large credit union ($500 million and up) category. As of December 2014, SECU’s assets were $2.8 billion.
“The annual CAMEO Awards showcase the year’s most successful marketing campaigns, which represent major drivers in our members’ successes,” says Barney Moore, Portfolio Consulting Services Manager with Card Services for Credit Unions (CSCU).

“As CSCU’s Solutions Conference explores the most pertinent topics affecting the credit union industry, it’s invaluable for attendees to understand the marketing strategies that have worked for their peers,” Moore continues.
“We are excited and gratified to have our credit card marketing campaign be recognized by such a prestigious organization,” says SECU Vice President of Marketing Peggy Young.

“This honor, coupled with other recent recognitions – including being named to the list of top mortgage granting credit unions by The American Credit Union Mortgage Association (ACUMA) and the list of 50 largest credit unions in the nation compiled by SNL Financial – is a testament to both the creativity of our internal team and the trust our members have in SECU,” Young concludes.
This year’s CAMEO Awards competition garnered 104 submissions from 75 credit unions nationwide. Winners will be acknowledged at the CSCU Solutions Conference, April 29-May 3 in St. Petersburg, Florida.
