Silent Auction for SPAN

Join Jing Ying Institute as they celebrate the holidays with a fundraiser for the local charity, SPAN.

Jing Ying Institute of Kung Fu & Tai Chi (www.jingying.org), will be holding their 12th annual Holiday Party and Silent Auction on Saturday, December 19, 3-4pm. The fundraiser supports SPAN, Inc. (www.SPANhelps.org ). SPAN provides financial assistance, food and referral services to those in crisis in central Anne Arundel County.

Many of the items are unique and hand-crafted, ranging from jewelry to books by local authors, gift certificates to restaurants and for a variety of services such as tai chi, massage, yoga, home organization, and more. Visit www.JingYing.org for a listing of items.

There will also be door prizes, free giveaways, music and food. The event is free and open to the public, but donations of non-perishable food for SPAN’s food pantry are welcome.
