Stabbing at Crossroads Tavern Leads to Motorcycle Crash, Arrest
Police arrested a Glen Burnie man early Sunday after he crashed a motorcycle and allegedly stabbed a man in a restaurant parking lot.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie man for allegedly stabbing a man in the parking lot of Crossroads Tavern. The assailant then wrecked his motorcycle shortly afterward.
Just after midnight, the suspect exited the bar, approached another man and accused him of damaging his motorcycle. The suspect then stabbed the man and fled on his motorcycle, according to police.
Police said the suspect crashed his motorcycle a short time later in the area of Birch Avenue and Magnolia Avenue, and responding officers recovered a weapon. Witnesses positively identified the suspect as being involved in the stabbing.
Police arrested Brian Scott Smith, 45, of Glen Burnie, and charged him with attempted second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and several DWI offenses.
An emergency crew transported the victim to Shock Trauma with serious injuries.
