Taser-Armed Robbers Hit Glen Burnie Sports Store: Police

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Two men are wanted for a Monday robbery that took place at a DICK's Sporting Goods in Glen Burnie.

Anne Arundel County Police said the incident was reported just after 9 p.m. in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway.

At the scene, officers were told that the two men had entered the store and began grabbing various items.

Police said a store employee approached the pair but quickly backed away when one of the men "sparked" a Taser. The two men carried on collecting items before eventually fleeing the scene.

One of the men was described as wearing a white shirt and orange tiger-striped pants with white sneakers. The second man was sporting a white shirt, tan hat and ripped light-washed jeans, according to police.
