Woman Robbed Outside Brooklyn Park Grocery Store
A man robbed a woman of her purse as she left the Shoppers Food Warehouse in Brooklyn Park.
Anne Arundel County police are seeking information on the suspect in a strong-armed robbery that occurred outside the Shoppers Food Warehouse in Brooklyn Park on Monday night.
Shortly after 7:30 p.m., a man approached a woman from behind as she exited the grocery store, on the 5700 block of Ritchie Highway. The man grabbed the victim's purse from her shopping cart, prompting a struggle, and the man knocked the woman down to the ground, according to police.
The suspect fled in the direction of 17th Avenue and Morgan Rd. Arriving officers searched the immediate area, but failed to locate the suspect.
