Maryland Witches Samhain Gathering 2026
Celebrate Samhain with local witches and Pagans at the Maryland Witches Samhain Gathering, hosted by Temple of the Roses on Saturday, October 31, in Glenn Dale, Maryland.
This community gathering is an opportunity to meet other local witches and Pagan-friendly people while enjoying an evening of food, activities, celebration, and remembrance.
The evening will feature a community potluck, karaoke, costume contest, Witches’ Dance, vendors and readers, Witches’ Exchange, photo area, raffles, ancestor altar, and Samhain ritual.
Guests are invited to bring a dish for the potluck and come in costume. For the Witches’ Exchange, attendees may bring witchy books, tools, supplies, décor, or other items they no longer use and exchange them for something another participant has brought.
Later in the evening, we’ll gather for an ancestor-focused Samhain ritual honoring our ancestors and beloved dead. Participants will have an opportunity to speak the name of someone they wish to remember and leave a message for the departed.
You do not need to be a member of Temple of the Roses or an experienced practitioner to attend. Newcomers are welcome, and you don’t need to arrive knowing anyone. The gathering is intended to give local witches and Pagans a place to meet, make connections, and spend Samhain together.
