Deputies Arrest Wheaton Man on Murder Charge
Selvin Salazar was wanted in the 2013 murder of Meyder Bladmir Yuman.

A Wheaton man was arrested Friday on a first-degree murder warrant by Prince George’s County Sheriff’s deputies.
Selvin Salazar of Wheaton was wanted on a murder warrant that was obtained by the Prince George’s County Police Department. According to the warrant, police had information that tied Salazar to the February of 2013 murder of Meyder Bladmir Yuman.
On Jan. 27, Prince George’s County Police learned Salazar was being released by U.S. Marshals from the federal courthouse in Greenbelt. They notified sheriff’s deputies, who arrested Salazar and took him to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections for processing.

Salazar is also charged with second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, and handgun on person.
