Police Blotter: August 11 - 19

The following arrest information was supplied by the Greenbelt Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

August 11:  A rock was thrown through a window on the 9100 block of Edmonston Road at 11:44 a.m.

August 12:  A resident juvenile was petitioned for trespassing on private property on the 7800 block of Hanover Parkway at 9:22 p.m. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending action by the Department of Juvenile Services.

August 13: Currency was taken from a residence on the 9100 block of Edmonston Terrace at 11:26 p.m.

A vehicle was scratched on the 7700 block of Hanover Parkway.

August 15:  Paris Gerod Jackson, 24, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on the 7800 block of Hanover Parkway at 1:02 a.m. The suspect was released on citation pending trial.

A non-resident juvenile was petitioned for malicious destruction after throwing rocks at a vehicle near the intersection of Hanover Parkway and Greenbelt Road at 6:20 p.m. The juvenile was released to a parent pending action by the Department of Juvenile Services.

Bridgida Nenechae Andrews, 19, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on the 100 block of Westway at 6:47 p.m. The suspect was released on citation pending trial. A resident juvenile was also petitioned for possession of drug paraphernalia. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending action by the Department of Juvenile Services.

A vehicle’s roof was damaged on 73 Court Ridge Road.

August 16: A red 1999 Jeep Cherokee with Maryland tags was taken on the 7800 block of Lakecrest Drive.

A vehicle, on the 6000 block of Greenbelt Road, was punched or struck, causing damage.

A rear Maryland tag was taken on the 6100 block of Breezewood Drive.

August 17: A burglary was reported on the 9200 block of Edmonston Road at 12:36 p.m. Nothing was taken.

A burglary was reported on the 9200 block of Edmonston Road at 1:44 p.m. Nothing was taken.

An attempted burglary occurred on the 6100 block of Breezewood Drive at 5:54 p.m.

A red 2003 Ford Taurus with Maryland tags was taken by a suspect known to the victim on the 5900 block of Cherrywood Lane.

Tires were punctured on the 7800 block of Emily’s Way.

A car was egged on the 100 block of Centerway.

A silver 2005 Chrysler 300 with Maryland tags was taken. It was later recovered by the Metropolitan Police of the District of Columbia on the 7500 block of Mandan Road. No arrests were made.

Maryland tags were taken from a vehicle on the 7600 block of Greenbelt Road.

August 18:  A non-resident juvenile was petitioned for trespassing on private property, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest on the 9200 block of Springhill Lane at 4:29 p.m. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending action by the Department of Juvenile Services.

Robert Earle Spears, 25, of College Park, was arrested and charged with trespassing on private property on the 6000 block of Cherrywood Court at 8:47 p.m. The suspect was released on citation pending trial.

Malcolm Isaiah Culmer, 22, of Suitland, Kingston Avery Pitt, 22, of Upper Marlboro, and Almineo Alfred Peterson, 21, of Baltimore, were all arrested and charged with trespassing on private property on the 6100 block of Breezewood Court at 9:54 p.m. The suspects were released on citations pending trial.

A book bag was taken from a vehicle on the 7900 block of Good Luck Road.

A silver 2002 Lexus RX300 with Maryland tags was taken on the 7400 block of Greenbelt Road.

August 19:  Wilmer Emilio Gonzalez-Morales, 22, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana on the 5700 block of Cherrywood Lane at 12:20 a.m. The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

A robbery occurred on the 6000 block of Greenbelt Road at 5:45 a.m. The victim advised he was approached by three suspects, one of which displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The suspects are described as a black male wearing a black shirt, tan pants and white shoes, and two Hispanic males wearing black pants.
