Police Blotter: Dec. 16 - 22

CENTER CITY

Dec. 18 at 2:08 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest.  Greenbelt Road at Capitol Drive.  Michael Edward Davis, Jr., 46, of Capitol Heights, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Dec. 19 at 1:37 a.m.: Drug Paraphernalia/DUI arrest. American Legion Drive at Lakecrest Drive. Ronald David Davis, 48, of Lanham, Maryland, was arrested and charged for possession of CDS paraphernalia, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol. The suspect was released on citations, pending trial.

Dec. 16 at 6:55 a.m.: Armed Robbery. 9100 block of Springhill Lane. Standing at the bus stop, the victim advised he was approached by an unknown suspect, who displayed a black handgun and asked for his money. The victim then fled the area on foot towards Breezewood Court. The suspect was described as a black male, 20 – 21, height approximately 5’9”, wearing a long, black coat and blue jeans.

Dec. 17 at 2:25 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest.  Ibrahim O’Tolani Isiaka, 27, of Upper Marlboro, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Dec. 18 at 1:47 a.m.: Malicious Destruction. 6100 block of Cherrywood Lane.  Graffiti was painted on the side of the Springhill Lake Recreation Center. 

Dec. 19 at 10:13 a.m.: Malicious Destruction. 5700 block of Greenbelt Metro Drive. Graffiti was written on the City owned emergency call box.

Dec. 20 at 6:39 p.m.: Armed robbery. 9100 block of Springhill Court. The victim was approached in the parking lot from behind. The suspect displayed a handgun and asked for the victim’s money. The suspect took the victim’s wallet and fled the area. The suspect was described as a black male, 20 – 29, wearing a long, black jacket that went to his knees.

At 11:13 p.m.: Malicious Destruction. 9100 block of Springhill Lane. Bedroom window was broken. Nothing was taken.

Dec. 21 at 2:26 p.m.: Burglary. 9100 block of Springhill Lane. Electronic equipment and computer games were taken.

At 3:56 p.m.: Burglary. 5800 block of Cherrywood Terrace. Electronic equipment and computer games were taken.

At 7:44 p.m.: Burglary. 9100 block of Springhill Lane. Bathmats and a bath curtain were taken.

GREENBELT EAST/GREENWAY SHOPPING CENTER

Dec. 9 at 9:07 p.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest.  E/B 193 at Mandan Road. Francisco Ignacio Lobos, 57, of Bowie, was arrested and charged with Driving under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving While Impaired by Alcohol. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Dec. 20 at 5:51 a.m.: Possession of CDS Paraphernalia arrest. Troyvonte Burns, age 19, and Darrious Dotson, 19, both of Greenbelt, were arrested and charged with possession of CDS paraphernalia. Suspect Burns was also charged on a traffic citation with driving on a suspended license, driving in violation of a rental agreement, failure to stop at a steady red arrow and failure to display a license on demand. Both subjects were released on citations, pending trial.

Dec. 21 at 8:48 a.m.: Burglary. 6800 block of Green Crescent Court. A snow blower was taken from an backyard shed.

Automotive Crime - City Wide

Dec. 17: 100 block of Westway Road. Theft from auto - JVC DVD Player and JBL speaker box.

6100 block of Breezewood Court. Stolen auto. 2006 Honda Odyssey, green, registration Maryland 231145M5.

6100 block of Breezewood Court. Stolen auto. A 2001 green Honda Odyssey. Maryland registration 23145M5.

6000 block of Greenbelt Road. Stolen auto. A 2005 silver Ford Taurus, District of Columbia registration CR3164.

Dec. 18: 200 block of Lakeside Drive. Vandalism. The hood of the vehicle was smashed in.

7900 block of Mandan Road. Theft from auto – XBox and jewelry.

Dec. 19: 9000 block of Breezewood. Attempt theft from auto – Power inverters off Chevy truck.

5600 block of Greenbelt Metro Drive. Theft from auto – Registration sticker.

Ridge Road Area. Vandalism. Graffiti scratched onto both passenger side doors.

6500 block of Capitol Drive. Theft from auto – car stereo.

9100 block of Edmonston Court. Vandalism. Rear window was broken.

Dec. 20: 200 block of Lakeside Drive. Recovered/stolen auto. A 1997 Nissan Maxima reported stolen from the 200 block of Lakeside Drive was located by the Prince George’s County Police Department. No arrests were made.

Research Road.  Stolen auto. A 1988 Honda Civic, black in color, Maryland registration 7DBD31.

7100 block of Ora Glen Court. Theft from auto – rims and tires.

8000 block of Mandan Road. Vandalism – spray painted side passenger door.

Dec. 21: Springhill Court at Edmonston Terrace. Recovered/stolen auto. A Nissan Altima reported stolen through the Metropolitan Police Department was recovered unoccupied in the 6200 block of Springhill Court by this agency. No arrests  were made.

Dec. 22: 5800 block of Cherrywood Lane.  Stolen auto – 2003 Nissam Altima, 4-door, gray in color, Maryland registration 2AK7826.
