Police Blotter: Feb. 4 – Feb. 10

The weekly crime activity report from the Greenbelt Police.

Feb. 4: An attempted burglary occurred on the 8100 block of Mandan Terrace at 4:08 p.m. No entry was gained.            

A front Maryland tag was taken on the 9100 block of Edmonston Road.

Feb. 5: Wesley Ryan Duffin, 33, of Silver Spring, was arrested and charged with driving while impaired by drugs, among other charges after a traffic stop on the 7500 block of Greenway Center Drive at 2:45 a.m. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Donnetta Sabrina Mitchell, 36, of Brentwood, was arrested and charged with driving while impaired by drugs, among other charges after a traffic stop at 10:40p.m. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

A purse was taken from a vehicle on the 6000 block of Greenbelt Road.

Front Maryland tags were taken from a vehicle on the 200 block of Lakeside Drive.

Feb. 7: Keith Moore, of Washington, D.C., was arrested and charged with attempt strong arm robbery, assault, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, after attempting to rob the victim on the 5700 block of Greenbelt Metro Drive at 12:59 a.m. The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.            

Tools and medication were stolen from a vehicle on the 6000 block of Greenbelt Road.

An exhaust pipe was damaged on the 6000 block of Springhill Drive.

Feb. 8: Jewelry and clothing were among the items taken from a vehicle on the 6200 block of Springhill Drive.

Sugar was found in a gas tank on the 9100 block of Edmonston Court.

Feb. 9: A white 2006 Ford Econoline Van with Maryland tags, reported stolen through Prince George’s County Police, was recovered on the 6100 block of Cherrywood Lane. No arrests were made. 

A GPS unit was taken from a vehicle on the 6100 block of Breezewood Court.

A front Maryland tag was taken from a vehicle on the 5900 block of Greenbelt Road.

A car window was broken on the 9100 block of Edmonston Road.

A white Nissan Maxima with Maryland tags was stolen on 36 Court Crescent Road.

A stereo and GPS unit were taken from a vehicle on the 5900 block of Cherrywood Terrace.

Feb. 10: A car window was broken on the 6100 block of Breezewood Drive.

A car window was broken on the 6200 block of Springhill Court.

Currency was taken from a vehicle on the 5800 block of Cherrywood Terrace.

A GPS unit and stereo were among the items taken from a vehicle on the 6200 block of Springhill Court.

A car window was broken on the 5800 block of Cherrywood Terrace.
