Volunteers Needed for Community Cleanup Work Across County

Most of Saturday's Earth Day cleanup events in Prince George's County still need volunteers and organizers encourage students to participate to earn Student Service Learning hours.

Community cleanups are planned around Prince George’s County on Saturday, April 5, to celebrate Earth Day and volunteers are welcome.

All cleanups start at 9 a.m. and end at noon, followed with a volunteer celebration taking place at Robert Fitzgerald Kennedy Memorial Stadium, 2400 E. Capitol Street, S.E. in Washington, D.C.

Most events are still in need of volunteers and students are encouraged to participate to earn their Student Service Learning hours, according to a news release.
