$2300 Necklace Stolen From Union Avenue: HdG Crime

Police said three thefts, two assaults, a residential burglary and more were reported in recent days in Havre de Grace.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents. Among them were two assaults, three thefts and more crimes.

There was an assault between a father and daughter in the 300 block of Goforth Drive. No injuries occurred in the assault, which happened at 10:44 p.m. on July 16. The case was referred to juvenile services.

Two men were involved in an assault in the 100 block of Wilson Street. The investigation into the assault, which was reported at 8:20 p.m. on July 16, is pending.

A bike was stolen from a library patron in the 100 block of Union Avenue, reported around noon on July 16. The bike was recovered.

Credit card fraud was reported in the 200 block of Tidewater Drive at 11:18 a.m. on July 16. The case was referred to the credit card service.

A purse was reported stolen from the 800 block of Pulaski Highway. A woman called to report she left her purse there, and although the manager said she would hold it for her, when the victim returned the purse was gone. The theft was reported at 5:11 p.m. on July 15.

A bike was stolen from the 100 block of Bloomsbury Avenue on July 13. The blue chrome Rhino was valued at $100.

A woman reported a Google Play scam at 3:56 p.m. on July 13. The victim in the 400 block of Brian Garth put money into the account that never showed up.

Jewelry was stolen in a burglary in the 400 block of North Union Avenue. The burglar stole a 14-karat yellow gold necklace after going inside the residence through an unlocked door. The estimated loss was $2300. The crime was reported at 1:30 p.m. on July 13.
