5 HdG Celebrations For St. Patrick's Day 2017

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — St. Patrick's Day is on a Friday this year, and what better way to enjoy it than drinking a pint at a pub or digging into Irish stew? Grab your green and check out these HdG happenings.

Coakley's Pub is offering $3 green beer (Miller Lite or Coors Light), $5 pints of Guinness and two for $10 Irish car bombs on Friday. The menu will feature specials like Guinness stew, corned beef and cabbage and Bailey's Irish cream mousse, among others. Irish step dancers and bagpipers are also going to be performing.

Laurrapin Grille (209 N. Washington St.) is stocked with a host of Irish whiskeys and live music for St. Patrick's Day revelers.

MacGregor's Restaurant (331 St. John St.) has Irish food, a bagpiper, DJ, live entertainment and beads on tap Friday. There will be $4 Killian's Irish red bottles, $5 Guinness draft, $6 Irish coffee and many other drink specials.

Rodger's House Tavern (226 N. Washington St.) will serve up Leprechaun Juice, Mexican leprechuan, Guinness or Lucky SOB. Karaoke and a DJ will kick off at 9 p.m. See food specials, including corned beef or ham, cabbage and potatoes for $8.17.

The Tidewater Grille (300 Franklin St.) is offering a four-hour "happy hour," with Celtic rock-pop band No Pro O'Bono playing from 6-10 p.m. There will be traditional and contemporary Irish tunes, reels and jigs at this event, which is open to all ages.
