Assault in Police Station Parking Lot: HdG Crime

Havre de Grace may be a small town but it’s not often crime comes right to the doorstep of the police department.
Police say that’s what happened on Mother’s Day.
At 5:01 p.m. on May 10, a person reported being the victim of an assault in the 700 block of Pennington Avenue.

The assault allegedly occurred in the parking lot of the Havre de Grace police station.
Police said the victim was referred to the commissioner.

Other recent incidents include the following. Information is provided by the Havre de Grace Police Department:
- Domestic call in the 800 block of Giles Street, reported at 8:52 p.m. on May 10.
- Domestic incident in the 400 block of Majestic Prince Circle, reported at 8:43 p.m. on May 10.
- Copper pipe stolen from the 500 block of Bourbon Street, reported at 7:15 p.m. on May 10.
- Rings and money stolen from the 500 block of Risen Star Court, reported at 3:35 p.m. on May 10.
- Domestic in the 500 block of Risen Star Court, reported at 5:27 a.m. on May 9.
- Vandalism to a vehicle in the 100 block of Vancherie Court, reported at 12:20 a.m. on May 9. The window of a Dodge Caravan was broken.
- Vandalism to a vehicle in the 400 block of Village Drive, reported at 7:20 p.m. on May 8. A juvenile ran his bike into the back of a person’s vehicle.
