In The Runaway Prophet, a contemporary thriller, the main character, Rory Justice, a modern version of the Bible’s Jonah, is called by his retired FBI father on his deathbed to hand-deliver a letter detailing plans by a new Islamic State mafia to plant a nuclear bomb under one of the casinos in Las Vegas, aka “Sin City” a new Nineveh. Rory (like Jonah) jumps on a cruise ship after mailing the letter instead. But disasters follow as a result and Rory is faced with trying to save the sinners he abhors: prostitutes, drug addicts, gamblers and gang members.

The Peace Maker, which was republished by Morgan James in September, is a contemporary suspense/romance novel based on the story of David and Abigail about a US Presidential election much like the one America just faced, with issues that are still very relevant today, and The Faithful One is based on the Book of Job. Each of Michele’s novels, though fast-paced and edgy, delivers an inspirational message to today’s readers which correlate to what God is trying to tell us in the Bible.
