Watch skilled captains compete in the fast-paced sport of extreme boat docking as they maneuver working boats into the dock with incredible speed and precision. This family-friendly waterfront festival also features food and craft vendors, a beer garden and crush tent, and crab races.
The festival takes place Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 1:00 AM–4:00 PM in Havre de Grace. Gates open at 11am.

Join the Upper Chesapeake Bay Pride Foundation for the annual Upper Chesapeake Bay Pride Festival on Saturday, October 3, from 1:00-6:00 p.m. at Concord Point Park. This free, family-friendly celebration brings the community together for an afternoon of live entertainment, local vendors and organizations, food, activities for kids, and plenty of Pride along the beautiful waterfront.
Before the festival, add your voice to Pride Around Town!
Pride Around Town will fill the windows of participating Havre de Grace businesses with messages of love, support, acceptance, and belonging from our community.

Decorate your boats and join the fun in the Lighted Boat Parade. Registration is free. All registered captains receive a T-shirt and swag bag. Compete to win trophies and prizes. Six categories will be judged – Best Sailboat; Best Powerboat; Best Use of Lights; Most Original; Best 250th Celebration theme and Judges’ Choice. The Lighted Boat Parade course starts at the American Legion and traverses along the shoreline to Green Buoy 17. Judging will be held at Hutchins Park. Several Species has performed in some of the most prestigious venues in the Mid-Atlantic region, including The 9:30 Club, The Lincoln Theater, Pier Six Pavilion, The Hippodrome, The Fillmore, Rams Head Live, and The Recher. The band’s name derives from the Pink Floyd track “Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict.” In addition to the audio side of things, Several Species felt the visuals of their live shows were equally important to capturing the overall feel of a live Pink Floyd show. To further enhance their live show experience, they added a laser light show, Arnold the inflatable pig, circular screen video projection, and quadraphonic surround sound. The Washington Post said it best: “This 11 piece ensemble will give any Floyd fan the same genuine chills and thrills as the real thing. They masterfully create an amazing audio / visual spectacle with meticulous attention to detail. They truly are as close as you’re going to get.”
