Car Crashes Into Liquor Store In HdG, Police Say
A vehicle drove into One Stop Liquors on Route 40, officials reported.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A car crashed into a building off Pulaski Highway/US 40 in Havre de Grace Thursday afternoon when the driver experienced a medical emergency, according to authorities. The Susquehanna Hose Company and Havre de Grace Police Department were called to the scene, as was a building inspector.
The crash occurred at One Stop Liquors in the 900 block of Pulaski Highway, officials said. Police were called to the crash at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15.
"The driver had a medical episode and lost control of her vehicle," according to Cpl. Ken Terry of the Havre de Grace Police Department.

One person was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, the Susquehanna Hose Company reported after 3 p.m.
Due to the crash, the Susquehanna Hose Company said authorities called an inspector to assess the structural integrity of the building.
