City Council: Budget Unveiled, Resolutions

Mayor Wayne Dougherty will unveil the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2013 during .

Dougherty and City Council will also make a special presentation, and they will hear presentations from Chief Jeremy Mothershed as well as the Envirothon team.

Two resolutions are also on the agenda: one pertaining to the Star Spangled Banner National Historic Trail, and another concerning a sustainable community application.

Four special events will be presented to council for approval:

1. Havre de Grace Farmers Market » every Saturday May 5 through Oct. 27
2. First Friday » every Friday May 4 through Nov. 2
3. 16th Annual Harford Memorial Hospital Celebration Run » Sept. 22
4. Relay for Life » June 8

Dougherty will present council with the proposed budget during his regular address.

Councilman Jim Miller has requested "a closed session to discuss legal issues rearding streets."
